(she/her)
My work as a psychotherapist is rooted in a profound belief that by recognizing and honoring our complex, messy life stories with honesty and gentleness, we lay the foundation to heal the obstacles preventing us from building fulfilling, meaningful lives. Throughout life, we all create narratives about ourselves to help us survive. These narratives are shaped by myriad factors (individual life experiences, relationships, intergenerational legacies, and experiences of oppression/privilege, belonging/rejection, among others). Over time, our narratives and coping mechanisms fall short. We wonder, what went wrong? What's wrong with me?
During our first session, you can expect me to approach our interaction with passion and dedication to your growth and well-being. I am committed to getting to know you on a deeper level, creating a safe space for exploration and understanding. Together, we will work to unravel and process the internalized thoughts and emotions that may be holding you back. I aim to help you connect with your core self, encouraging authenticity and transparency in our discussions. We will explore ways to release any shame from your past, fostering a journey towards self-acceptance and embracing all aspects of who you are. Through our collaboration, we will work towards unlocking your potential and guiding you to become the best version of yourself.
Drawing from over 20 years of clinical training/experience, I provide a compassionate, empathic, culturally responsive, and social justice informed space in which we collaboratively unpack stagnant self-narratives. In coming to this site, you have taken a step toward self-care, healing, growth—toward developing self-awareness.
I am seeking a client who is motivated and committed to making positive changes in their life. I am looking for someone who is willing to invest the time and effort required to work towards real progress and live their best possible life. I hope to connect with a client who is open to unpacking unresolved baggage, addressing past traumas, and developing insight to achieve their goals. Together, we can explore perspectives, heal from past experiences, and create a lifestyle that aligns with their aspirations for growth and well-being.

I'm very disappointed in the "care" I received from Sharry. I booked with her because she seemed to be the most educated on complex trauma-informed care and had great reviews. The communication from the start was very poor. Appointment times were changed without confirmation, cancellations were made the day of, and she never provided me with any resources after my session as part of my treatment plan we discussed. Use caution and lower your expectations if you plan to work with her.

Sharry is a very wam, authenic and genuine therapist that is very easy to establlish a rapport with. I felt like I was being heard and was comfortable opening up with Sharry. I am very willing to do the hard work and could not imagine doing this without her. With Sharry's level of compassion, listening skills and tailored approach, I know she will be very helpful to me so I may become the best verison of myself and think and believe more positive of myself, my life and my situation.
