About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who centers my practice around working with adolescents and young adults who wish to address self-exploration and identity development, navigation of conflict in relationships, and the impact of trauma on current life experiences. I find it important to ground our therapy in trust, then we can begin to explore your emotional experience as a way to understand how you navigate your present. I have spent nearly a decade centering my practice around working with young people and building resilience around what life has thrown their way. Through Talk Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, we have addressed ways to process and heal from trauma and loss. Through using elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, we have addressed addictive behaviors ranging from toxic relationships to substance use. Through my relational approach, I have watched my clients accept the challenges they need to face and accept aspects of who they are that don't need to change at all. I integrate the intersection of therapeutic work and social justice work whenever possible, ensuring that our work is contextualized within and in opposition to the oppressive systems that govern our society. Additionally, as a school social worker, I am also able to assist with any school-based concerns you may be experiencing.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session you will be met with warmth, humor, and the space you deserve to deepen an understanding of who you are.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My style combines honesty with compassion. I make sure to hold non-judgmental space as you share your story, yet, I am not a therapist that holds back from naming difficult truths. At the end of the day, your opinion of your own life matters most and since this is where growth happens, we make sure we always return to that.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals 14-26 of all gender, sexuality, and racial experiences. I hope to engage in therapeutic work with young people who want to explore who they are through the lenses of their relationships, trauma, and societal impact. My primary modality with clients has been Talk Therapy with integration of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy skills as needed.
