Hi, I'm Dr. Edee, a psych provider who believes you deserve to feel heard, understood, and involved in your care. I know reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, especially if you've had negative experiences or felt rushed in the past. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable asking questions and sharing your concerns without judgment. I take time to listen, explain diagnoses and medications in simple language, and make sure you understand your treatment options. I believe the best care happens when we work together to create a plan that fits your needs and goals. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, OCD, bipolar disorder, and other mental health concerns. Whether this is your first time seeking treatment or you're looking for a fresh approach, I'm here to support you. My goal is to help you feel better, understand your mental health, and leave each appointment feeling more hopeful and confident about your next steps.
During our time together, we'll take a deep dive into your unique experiences, symptoms, and how they're affecting your daily life. My goal is to understand the whole picture, not simply your symptoms. We'll have an open conversation about your medical, family, social, and mental health history, and you'll have plenty of time to ask questions along the way. I believe you should understand your diagnosis, treatment options, and why I make certain recommendations. Once I have a clear understanding of your concerns, we'll work together to create a personalized treatment plan that fits your needs and goals. This may include medication, therapy, lifestyle changes, or referrals to additional resources. By the end of your first appointment, you'll leave with a better understanding of what's going on, a treatment plan tailored to you, and clear next steps so you feel confident moving forward. I look forward to partnering with you on your mental health journey.
My greatest strength is creating a space where you feel comfortable enough to be honest. Mental health is personal, and I believe you deserve to feel heard, respected, and never judged. I take time to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and understand the full picture before making recommendations. I don't believe in rushing appointments or handing out prescriptions without making sure you understand your diagnosis, treatment options, and what to expect. I also believe education is an important part of care. I want you to leave each appointment with a clear understanding of your symptoms, your medications if they're recommended, and the reasoning behind your treatment plan. When you understand your care, you're better equipped to make informed decisions about your mental health. My goal is for every patient to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful, knowing we have a plan and that they don't have to figure it out alone.
One of my passions is working with adults from college age through middle adulthood. This stage of life often brings major transitions, including starting a career, balancing relationships, raising children, caring for aging parents, or adjusting to an empty nest. These changes can sometimes contribute to anxiety, depression, ADHD, burnout, or other mental health concerns. I enjoy helping people navigate these challenges while building practical tools to improve their overall well-being. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling to stay focused, experiencing changes in your mood, or simply feeling like you're not yourself, we'll work together to understand what's going on and develop a treatment plan that fits your needs. My approach combines medication management, psychoeducation, and evidence-based strategies to help you manage symptoms and create lasting change. My goal is to help you feel more confident, balanced, and equipped to navigate life's challenges with greater resilience.

Psychoeducation
Psychoeducation is one of the most important parts of my approach to mental health care. I believe you should understand your diagnosis, your symptoms, your treatment options, and why I recommend certain medications or therapies. During our appointments, I take time to explain things in clear, easy-to-understand language so you feel informed, not overwhelmed. We'll talk about what to expect from treatment, possible side effects, ways to manage symptoms, and steps you can take outside of appointments to support your mental health. My goal is to help you feel confident in your treatment plan and empowered to take an active role in your care. I believe that when you understand what's happening and why, you're better equipped to make decisions that support your long-term well-being.

Dr. Edi is absolutely the greatest! She is caring, listens to all your concerns, and really works hard to make sure that your psychiatric treatment is the perfect fit for you as an individual. She is patient, accommodating, and the best psych provider I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Her office is also extremely responsive and caring. Cannot recommend enough!

Ediomi truly spent time listening and gathering information. She asked questions that were relevant and assessed thoroughly. All I have to say is that to have a provider that truly listens to you is very rare. Her style and approach leaves you feeling seen, solution focused, treatment based on patient’s need, and taking action. She was referred to me by a family and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you.
