As a Doctor of Nursing degree in psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I bring years of experience and a deep understanding of people’s unique challenges on their journeys to mental wellness. What truly drives my practice is my belief that healing is about empowering individuals to achieve worth.
First session
We will have a brief consultation or greetings and then we will move from there.

Ideal clients
My name is Dr. Dorcas Adeniyi. I love working with mental health ill people. I always want to let them know that they should not be ashamed of their illness or think that having mental illness is a taboo or stigma. I want whoever is having this issue to know that they are not alone and it's not a taboo or stigma. I want you to look at it as if you have diabetes, asthma, or hypertension. In a nutshell, diabetes is a disease, as well as depression or ADHD is a disease.

Christian Counseling
My philosophy of Christian counseling is to combine Western medicine with spiritual medicine. Spiritual medicine focuses on helping people how to use meditation, mindfulness, and positive affirmation because there is power in our tongue; according to the scriptures, whatever we profess, will come back to us. This approach has helped some of my patients in the past to find peace, joy, and healing through connectivity and transcending to the highest power.
