Sherie Ajayi
I am a board-certified PMHNP providing thoughtful, collaborative psychiatric care for adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, stress, and life transitions. My approach is warm, supportive, and goal-oriented, with an emphasis on helping clients feel understood and empowered in their care. My goal is not only to manage medications but also to create a safe, culturally sensitive, and affirming environment where every part of a person’s identity is welcomed and supported.
First session
The practice offers a compassionate space where healing and progress feel possible.
Strengths
I specialize in treating, anxiety and stress-related disorders, life transitions and adjustment challenges, difficulty with focus, motivation, or executive functioning, feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure about next steps. My ideal client appears high-functioning but internally struggles with worry, pressure, or self-doubt.
Ideal clients
While everyone is welcome, I focus on supporting BIPOC transitional‑age youth ages 18–26 with anxiety, ADHD and stress as they navigate life’s most pivotal years. My practice supports clients in navigating whatever may be holding them back from their full potential, whether it is anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, or the impact of trauma. I can support you in moments of stress and transition.
Treatment methods
Compassion-Focused
I focus on not only treating the patient but getting to know them on a deeper level. Finding the root of the issues the patients are concerned about takes time, trust and dedication.
