I have over 20 years of experience in working with individuals working within the Behavioral Health and Substance abuse field. Through the use of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Motivational interviewing, I have helped countless individuals meet their therapy goals, improving their day-to-day functioning, improve relationships, and feel hopeful for the future. I gain satisfaction in helping others achieve their goals.

I work with individuals who have concerns they want to talk through or specific challenges that are impacting their lives. When an individual starts working with me we work together identify the concerns and motivations for change and coming up with a plan for success. It is important to me that I understand how an individual wants to approach therapy and match their desired approach.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have utilized Dialectical Behavior Therapy as a tool to help individuals improve emotional regulation, build better relationships, and prioritize self-care.

Motivational Interviewing

I have included Motivational Interviewing in my practice for over 15 year, I believe that using the process of MI allows an individual to identify their own level of motivation and readiness for change.

Strength-Based

Strength- Based or Person Centered Treatment is at the heart of my treatment philosophy, I believe that each of has the strengths needed to grow and achieve goals.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize CBT to challenge our thought process and identify new opportunities for changing thoughts that are impacting daily functioning.
