Hello there! I am a licensed clinical social worker based in Texas. I received my master's degree from the University of Texas at Austin and have been practicing therapy for over 2 years. I work with people who are experiencing depression and anxiety. I utilize trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy as this is a tried and true modality for those symptoms. I also use a person/client centered approach.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will establish rapport and collect information about your current challenges and any relevant details about you and your life that will inform your plan. I also like to ask clients if they have participated in therapy before followed by what worked and what did not. I also like to inquire about what would make you feel most supported in therapy. The first session is really our time to build a bond and establish some trust.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I would say that my greatest strength is the relationships I have developed with my clients. I don't think that therapy should feel scary or intimidating and I don't approach it that way. My clients and I can share a laugh together and that is okay. I will also meet you where you are in all the phases of your therapeutic journey.

Welcome! Thanks for viewing my profile. I have experience working with people who have struggled with their self-esteem, life transitions, depression, anxiety, school, existential crisis, and negative relationships. I can help you navigate your day to day and make connections that you may not have made before. I work with clients to recognize and change unwanted thinking patterns, manage their stress, and prioritize themselves. I want to help people feel better about the future and even the present again.
