Thank you for visiting my page and Welcome, I have worked in the field of mental health for over 20 years, and I have worked with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, relationship struggles etc... I am deeply committed to supporting you in your journey toward emotional well-being, resilience, and personal growth. My passion for therapeutic mental health work comes from a strong belief that every person deserves a safe, compassionate space where they can explore their experiences, overcome challenges, and build healthier patterns for their lives.
The first session is about getting to know each other and setting the foundation for the therapeutic alliance.
My approach to therapy is grounded in respect, empathy, and collaboration. I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel heard and supported and I believe in empowerment to build insight, resilience, and self-compassion, and to foster lasting change both within and beyond the therapy setting.
My ideal client can be anyone, regardless of diagnosis, who is struggling, but is motivated, and can be engaged in the therapeutic process. The client is ready to do the work, ready to explore their issues and committed to becoming a better version of themselves. They work in partnership with me as opposed to expecting me to fix their issues.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is grounded in my clinical training and over 2 decades of work with individuals in both inpatients and outpatients. My use of CBT is to assist clients to understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions and behaviors.
Strength-Based
I use the strength based so that client can have a positive mindset to overcome their challenges and implement changes.
