Hey There! my name is Molly, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Pennsylvania. I believe that a strong, supportive therapeutic relationship is essential for progress, which is why I aim to be the approachable and compassionate therapist you can feel comfortable opening up to. I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from West Chester University. I completed my Bachelor’s in Sociology with a minor in Psychology, followed by my Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2015. Throughout my career, I have gained diverse experience working with various populations in settings including outpatient counseling, hospitals, and the emergency room. In these environments, I’ve provided assessments, level of care determinations, and referrals for patients dealing with acute psychiatric and substance use disorders. With several years of experience in both inpatient and emergency hospital settings, I am confident that we can work together to address and process whatever challenges you may be facing.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the intake session, you can expect a warm, laid-back conversation where we get to know each other. I’ll ask some questions about what brought you to therapy, your background, and what you're hoping to work on. It’s a chance for you to share your story, and for me to understand how I can best support you. We’ll also talk about logistics like goals, scheduling, and what you can expect moving forward. The session is all about creating a comfortable space for you to feel heard and understood.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Treatment methods are highly individualized and what works for some, may not work for others. In my practice, I work within a strengths-based, trauma informed framework where I draw from my training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy in addition to many other treatment modalities.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Working with women and the variety of challenges we face in this day and age is one of my primary passions. Women are often subject to so many unique dichotomies and this can weigh us down. Whether you're trying to create a better work-life balance, stop people pleasing and embrace your true self or navigating the intimidating world of online dating, I'm here to help you through it.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I specialize in working with millennial-aged clients who are navigating challenges related to relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, and interpersonal conflict. I help individuals build healthier connections, boost self-confidence, and manage anxiety, all while developing the tools needed to handle conflict more effectively. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. Together, we’ll work toward creating lasting, positive changes in your personal and professional life.
