I am an empathic listener who engages all clients in a caring way. I help individuals identify their problems, create a plan to address those problems, and work with them so that they make progress. I utilize many modalities with my favored modalities being attachment theory and solution focused therapy to best assist my clients. I have vast experience in the field and have worked in a numerous settings such as working with children and teenagers and in family crisis situations. I have also worked as a child custody mediator for the family court for years. I have experience assisting families in reunifying and create long term plans to better their family.
We will get to know each other to determine if my style is a good fit for you. Your comfort is important and you have a right to determine if I am the right therapist for you. However, if you find that we are a match I will involve you in the process of creating goals for yourself to move in the direction you want your life to go.

I believe our ealy life relationships with caregivers are paramount in the development of our social and romantic relationships. In therapy we will explore how to better understand your attachment style so that your habits and your communication style can be adapted to people and environments.

All families need help from time to time and I would like to help guide you through those difficult times in order to support you be a more balanced and healthier family.
Not all clients need to take a deep dive into the past, at times we need to focus on the issues at hand and work towards resolving those issues so that you are a more stable functioning person in your day to day life.
