Sometimes, life becomes challenging for all of us. Reaching out for help is a hard and courageous thing to do, and I commend you for taking that first step! I am passionate about creating a safe, connected, inclusive therapy space to process whatever it is you would like to discuss. My goal is to awaken the strength and resilience that is inside of you, so you can live a meaningful life. I have experience working with clients of all ages and with a variety of topics, including anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, LGBTQ+, relationship issues, and more. I like the therapy space to be a creative and collaborative experience. I am primarily a person-centered therapist. This means the focus is on you- the whole person- not just what’s troubling you. Healing is not a one-size-fits-all, and I will work with you to create goals and a plan that fits you and your needs.
I will have a long list of questions to get to know you better. I am also open to answering any questions you might have about me and therapy!
I am easygoing and collaborative, and I modify sessions to the client and their needs.
You may be any age, race, or gender orientation. You are open, motivated, and honest. You bring your authentic self into the therapy space.
I use CBT in therapy to help manage anxious thoughts, and teach you to do so on your own.
I use DBT with clients to help with emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness.
If you need to work through trauma, we will do so at a pace that is comfortable for you and using evidence-based methods to do so.
