I am a licensed clinical psychologist who approaches care through openness, curiosity, and empathy. I use culturally informed, evidence-based practices and collaborate with clients to develop realistic, meaningful, and values-based goals. For clients who desire it, I integrate a Christian framework into treatment, incorporating Scripture alongside evidence based psychological approaches. You do not have to choose between your faith and your mental health. Therapy can include both clinical tools and spiritual grounding in a way that is thoughtful, respectful, and individualized. I was trained within a scientist practitioner model and focus on helping clients apply what they learn in ways that feel practical and sustainable. My goal is to create a space that is supportive, structured, and purposeful, where meaningful and lasting change can occur.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a comfortable space to begin identifying what brings you to therapy and what you want to change or better understand. I will ask targeted questions to develop a clear understanding of your concerns, history, and goals, while giving you space to share at your own pace. We will begin outlining a direction for treatment that aligns with your values and needs. If desired, this can include a biblical foundation. By the end of the session, many clients leave with a clearer sense of direction and next steps.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I integrate clinical science with a biblical framework in a way that is structured, practical, and tailored to each individual. Treatment is not one size fits all and is guided by your specific concerns, goals, and values. I focus on both symptom relief and deeper understanding, helping clients address current challenges while identifying underlying patterns. This supports change that is not only immediate, but sustainable over time. Clients often experience my approach as warm, direct, and nonjudgmental. Sessions balance support with challenge, creating space for both understanding and growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults across a range of concerns, including ADHD, trauma related disorders, anxiety, depression, and behavioral patterns. I also have experience evaluating cognitive concerns such as mild cognitive impairment and dementia. I am best suited for individuals who are open to a structured, goal oriented process and are seeking both symptom relief and greater clarity, direction, and alignment in their lives. Many of my clients value a thoughtful, intentional approach to growth and meaningful change. I also work well with individuals who want to integrate their Christian faith into therapy. I understand that some people feel hesitant about therapy in this context, and I aim to create space where both psychological and spiritual aspects can be explored in a way that is grounded, respectful, and clinically sound. I tend to be a strong fit for clients who are motivated for change, open to being challenged with care, and interested in a process that is both structured and adaptable. Completing an intake does not guarantee ongoing assignment, and when appropriate, I will support referral to ensure the best clinical fit.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as a structured, evidence-based approach to help clients develop psychological flexibility. This includes clarifying values, increasing awareness of thoughts and emotions, and building the ability to respond to them in more intentional and effective ways. Rather than focusing on eliminating distress, the goal is to change your relationship to it so you can engage more fully in meaningful areas of your life. My use of ACT is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each individual. When desired, values work can incorporate a biblical framework. I also integrate ACT with other evidence-based approaches to support both symptom relief and long-term change.

Faith based therapy

I offer faith-based therapy for clients who want to integrate their Christian beliefs into treatment. This may include Scripture, prayer, and biblical principles alongside evidence based psychological practices. This integration is always collaborative and guided by your preferences. The goal is to support clarity, discernment, and meaningful growth while honoring both your mental health and your relationship with God. Faith integrated therapy is not a replacement for pastoral care and does not qualify as pastoral counseling.

Christian Counseling

My approach to Christian counseling is grounded in a biblical framework, where Scripture serves as the foundation for understanding identity, suffering, and change. I integrate evidence based psychological practices within this framework, offering care that is both clinically informed and rooted in a Christian worldview for clients who desire this approach.
