Hi, I’m George. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 14 years of experience working with individuals, couples, groups, and families of all ages. I bring a diverse background and wide range of interests to my work as a mental health therapist. Some of my major areas of focus include grief and loss, anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder, gender identity concerns, and LGBTQ issues. Other areas include panic disorders, anger management, divorce, blended families, sexual abuse, domestic violence, and parenting issues. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California State University Northridge and a Master of Science degree from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California. I currently offer daytime, and evening appointments and am committed to providing my clients with the highest quality of care and individualized services.

I help individuals overcome a wide range of symptoms and mental health conditions to set themselves on the path toward increased self-awareness, inner peace, and mental health wellness. Together, we will tackle your challenges through supportive and empowering psychological guidance, so that we can develop the tools you need to create positive change and remove the blocks in your life and your relationships.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I have been trained in a variety of approaches including, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Family/Marital Systems, Psychodynamic Theory, LGBT-Affirmative Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Client-Centered Counseling, and Trauma-Focused Therapy
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I am fluent in Spanish and have volunteered at several non-profit organizations that service the Spanish-speaking population, at-risk youth, victims of violent crimes, and the LGBTQ community.
