I’m a therapist who works with couples, young adults, and individuals navigating stress, life transitions, and past trauma. I help clients better understand their emotional patterns, strengthen their relationships, and feel more grounded in their day-to-day lives. My goal is to create a space where you can slow down, feel supported, and move toward lasting clarity, confidence, and connection. I look forward to connecting.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a space for us to get to know each other at a comfortable pace. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to get out of therapy. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—this is simply a starting point. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, current challenges, and goals, while also giving you space to share what feels most important. We may begin to identify patterns or areas of focus, but the primary goal of the first session is to help you feel heard, supported, and comfortable. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of how I work and what therapy together can look like moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is grounded, supportive, and focused on helping clients understand the deeper emotional patterns that shape their experiences. I integrate evidence-based approaches like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and EMDR for trauma, allowing for both insight and meaningful change. I’m especially attuned to the moments where clients feel stuck—whether in relationships, transitions, or internal stress—and help gently bring clarity to those experiences. Clients often find that our work together not only helps them cope, but also feel more connected, confident, and emotionally steady in their lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with individuals and couples who are seeking greater clarity, emotional balance, and stronger connections in their lives. Many of my clients come to therapy during periods of transition, stress, or feeling overwhelmed, and are looking for a space to better understand themselves and move forward with intention. I support couples who want to feel more connected and secure in their relationship. Often, couples find themselves stuck in repeated patterns—miscommunication, emotional distance, or unresolved conflict. In our work together, we focus on slowing these moments down, helping each partner feel heard, and building a stronger, more grounded connection. I also work with young adults navigating the transition from living at home to becoming more independent. This stage can bring both excitement and uncertainty as you begin to define your identity, manage new responsibilities, and make decisions about your future. Therapy can help you build confidence, develop emotional awareness, and feel more steady during this shift. In addition, I support clients who are managing everyday stress. Even without a specific crisis, life can feel overwhelming at times. Together, we create space to process what’s coming up, develop tools to manage stress, and find more balance in your day-to-day life. For clients who have experienced trauma or are living with PTSD, I incorporate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). This approach helps process past experiences so they feel less present and overwhelming, allowing you to move forward with a greater sense of ease. My approach is supportive, grounded, and nonjudgmental, meeting you where you are.

My treatment methods

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I guide partners in identifying the core needs and fears that drive their emotional reactions, communication styles, and conflict cycles. Through structured conversations, I support each partner in expressing vulnerability and developing a deeper sense of safety and emotional connection. I help couples repair attachment injuries by fostering empathy, validating each partner’s experiences, and strengthening trust.

Grief Therapy

In my practice, I support clients through grief by helping them identify and express the full range of emotions connected to their loss. I create a compassionate, grounded space where clients can process their thoughts, memories, and unanswered questions without judgment. I use evidence-based grief interventions—such as meaning-making, narrative work, and grounding skills—to help clients understand their grief journey and reduce emotional overwhelm. I guide clients in exploring how the loss has changed their identity, relationships, and daily functioning, while helping them rebuild a sense of stability.

EMDR

In my practice, I use EMDR to help clients process distressing memories and reduce the emotional intensity tied to past trauma. I begin by building safety, stabilization, and grounding skills so clients feel prepared before moving into deeper trauma processing. During EMDR sessions, I guide clients through bilateral stimulation while they focus on targeted memories, allowing the brain to reprocess the experience in a more adaptive way.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

In my practice, I use mindfulness to help clients slowly become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations without judgment. I guide clients through grounding exercises—such as breathwork, body scans, and sensory awareness—to help them regulate their nervous system in the moment. Mindfulness is integrated into sessions to interrupt automatic reactions and create space for more intentional, emotionally balanced responses. I help clients apply mindfulness outside the therapy room by teaching simple daily practices that support stress reduction and emotional clarity.
