First session
Your first session is a welcoming and collaborative experience. We’ll begin by discussing your current concerns, symptoms, and goals for treatment. I’ll ask questions about your mental health history, medical background, lifestyle, and any previous treatments to gain a full understanding of your needs. This is also your time to share openly and ask questions. We’ll work together to explore what’s most important to you and begin developing a personalized treatment plan, whether that includes supportive therapy, medication management, or both. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to take the next step in your wellness journey.
Strengths
One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to truly listen. I create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood, without judgment. My lived experience allows me to connect with patients on a deeper level, offering empathy and insight that goes beyond textbooks.
Ideal clients
I work with adults who are navigating high levels of stress, responsibility, and expectation, yet may be silently struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, or emotional overwhelm. Many of my patients are: -High-functioning professionals who feel mentally exhausted behind the scenes -Individuals who have felt misunderstood, misdiagnosed, or unheard in previous care -Those seeking a provider who offers not only clinical expertise, but cultural awareness and genuine understanding I am especially passionate about providing care for individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those who value working with a provider who understands both the clinical and cultural nuances of mental health. If you’ve ever felt like you had to “push through” instead of being supported, this space was created for you.
Treatment methods
Supportive
Supportive therapy has been a foundational part of my clinical practice. I use this approach to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where patients feel heard, validated, and empowered. By focusing on emotional support, problem-solving, and enhancing coping strategies, I help individuals navigate life stressors, manage symptoms, and build resilience. Supportive therapy is often integrated with medication management to promote holistic care, allowing patients to be active participants in their healing process.
