A Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Kentucky, Georgia, and Florida. My specialty is Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I have worked with couples, children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of disorders, needs, and concerns including - PTSD/trauma, personality disorders, serious mental illness (SMI), anxiety, stress, career difficulties and workplace concerns, suicidality, self-injury, abuse and neglect, anger, depression, low self-esteem, grief and loss, ADHD, aggression, impulsivity, parenting problems/stress, interpersonal problems, and adjustment issues and life transitions. I help with family conflicts and dysfunction, marital problems, relationship issues/concerns, couples in varying stages of their relationship; pre-marital counseling, divorce, remarriage, co-parenting, blended family issues, and family court-related issues. I help parents who are struggling to manage their child’s difficult and/or dangerous behaviors with behavior modification, to better understand child development, and how to communicate more effectively. I help empower clients and to guide them to self-discovery, expand and develop healthy coping, problem-solving, and to learn skills to help themselves. My commitment is to help individuals to grow and make changes that are important to them so they can move forward in their life.
