Hello, my name is Madison and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP) in Texas. I acquired my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have been practicing for four years. I specialize in substance abuse treatment, mood disorders, and trauma, working with clients that struggle with various substance abuse addictions and mental disorders to help regain control of their life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will utilize time to introduce ourselves, and discuss specific problem areas to develop a tailored plan for future sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Working with clients with severe substance abuse issues and mental disorders provides me with great strength to assist your needs. I have worked with dual diagnosis clients for four years, that have become criminal justice involved. In addition to that expertise, I have obtained specific training to work with clients with a trauma history.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work with adults who struggle with substance abuse and mental health issues, which have caused significant issues within their daily functioning. My clients identify with problematic behaviors but need assistance acquiring coping skills.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The utilization of CBT therapy allows us to work collaboratively to identify barriers and create space to reframe thinking patterns. As well as develop pro-social behaviors to combat barriers. I prefer this method to achieve short and long term goals.

Forensic Psychology

I have years of experience conducting forensic psychological assessments with county courts to aid in treatment planning.
