(she/her)
Hello, I’m DeAndra. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by stress, stuck in your relationships, navigating identity shifts, or wrestling with anxiety about the future—you’re not alone. Life’s transitions can be disorienting, even when they seem “normal” on the outside. Whether you’re stepping into a new role (like becoming a parent or professional), redefining your sense of self, or simply trying to manage the demands of everyday life, therapy can be a powerful space to reconnect with clarity, calm, and confidence. In our work together, I offer a supportive space to explore your inner world, unpack the narratives that shape your life, and develop tools that feel true to you. I believe in the healing power of storytelling, deep reflection, and intentional action. Together, we’ll examine the patterns, beliefs, and lived experiences that have shaped you—and make room for new ways of thinking, relating, and thriving.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll ask about your needs, goals, and what brought you to therapy, and I’ll share more about how I work so you can decide if I’m the right fit. We’ll move at your pace, co-creating a plan that supports the outcomes you care about. My approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and deeply relational. I hold space for your unique story while offering tools and reflection to help you move forward. Whether you’re looking for immediate coping skills or long-term healing, we’ll tailor our work to your values and capacity.
With over 16 years of experience supporting individuals and families across mental health, education, and social service systems, I bring a trauma-informed, affirming lens to everything I do. I help clients name what’s been unspoken, find meaning in their lived experiences, and build sustainable strategies for self-trust, growth, and emotional regulation. I’ve walked alongside people facing the weight of systems, transitions, and identity-based challenges—and I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it can be to reclaim your narrative. I offer honesty, empathy, and strategic support to help you move from survival mode into a life that feels more spacious, grounded, and authentic.
My work is rooted in culturally responsive care and grounded in real-life experience. I’m especially equipped to support women of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, young adults, new and single parents, helping professionals, and first-generation college students. Many of my clients are navigating personal or professional transitions, identity exploration, burnout, self-doubt, or internalized pressure to “have it all together.” Whether you’re unpacking the impact of systemic stressors, confronting long-held beliefs that no longer serve you, or learning to use your voice more confidently, I meet you where you are—with curiosity, respect, and collaboration.
I help clients explore and rewrite internal stories shaped by identity, culture, and experience. This method supports clients in reframing limiting beliefs, reclaiming voice, and deepening self-understanding as they move toward healing and self-trust.
I provide affirming, identity-conscious care for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients. We explore how systemic and cultural narratives impact mental health, self-worth, and relationships—making space for empowered healing and authentic self-expression.
I use a relational approach to explore attachment patterns, boundary dynamics, and emotional safety. My work focuses on helping clients build healthier connections, both with others and within themselves, in a safe and collaborative space.
I blend evidence-based and experiential tools—including CBT, mindfulness, and somatic awareness—to meet each client’s unique needs. My flexible approach allows us to tailor sessions to your goals, values, and emotional readiness.
I create a safe, nonjudgmental space that honors the impact of trauma on the body and mind. I support clients in regulating the nervous system, restoring trust, and moving through healing at a pace that feels empowering and sustainable.
