I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with teen-adult populations in managing stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, crisis, relationship conflicts, and life transitions. My goal is to promote emotional well-being by working alongside individuals as they work to cope with life challenges. I’m also skilled in working with women and men who have experienced substance abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, and other forms of trauma. I will never claim to be an expert on someone else’s life story. I will only claim to partner with you to ensure you are supported, inspired, and foster growth through the challenges. I believe in treating each person with dignity, respect, and unconditional positive regard. Counseling is a beautiful journey filled with challenges and rewards. The commitment to obtaining personal growth, healing, and freedom will be worth the journey. In my downtime, you will most likely find me creating music, reading, studying my bible, and enjoying friends and family. I am a huge foodie and a self-proclaimed chef! Part of my self-care routine involves trying out new dishes, watching the best TV series, and shopping. I also enjoy traveling and getting a good dose of sunlight! P.S. I like to think I have a great sense of humor once you get to know me, but I’ll let you be the judge.
I can guarantee from each session individuals will feel inspired, safe, and challenged in a therapeutic environment that is embracing, empathetic, and compassionate.

Many people are interested in what others have to communicate which is extremely important in the helping profession. My niche is exploring the things people don't say or refuse to communicate. Active listening is more than hearing what is being communicated. It is also paying attention to what is not being communicated.
