About me

Hi, I’m Stephanie, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a compassionate, dedicated therapist who believes that you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I provide a warm, judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported while working through whatever brings you to therapy. My approach is collaborative and individualized—I meet you where you are and work alongside you toward greater healing, clarity, and fulfillment.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what has brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current challenges, your history, and what you hope to gain from therapy, while also beginning to identify goals that feel meaningful to you. Most importantly, there is no pressure to have everything figured out—I want you to feel comfortable, supported, and able to be yourself. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you and begin building a therapeutic relationship based on trust and collaboration.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring warmth, empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to understand each person as an individual. I’m a strong listener and strive to create a space where clients feel safe being honest and vulnerable without fear of judgment. I also bring a calm, grounded presence to difficult conversations and am comfortable sitting with people through pain, uncertainty, grief, and major life transitions. My goal is to balance empathy and support with thoughtful guidance and practical tools, so that therapy feels both nurturing and purposeful.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with people who are going through a season of life that feels heavy, confusing, or simply different than they expected. You may be navigating grief and loss, anxiety, relationships, trauma, a major life transition, or simply feeling stuck—and looking for a space where you can feel understood and supported. You don’t have to come into therapy knowing exactly what you need or have all the right words. I’m happy to meet you wherever you are and figure it out together. I especially value working with people who are ready to slow down, understand themselves more deeply, and find a little more peace, hope, and direction in their lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my work to help you better understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we can gently identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and work toward developing healthier, more balanced ways of thinking and responding. My goal is to make CBT practical and individualized, using tools that feel relevant to your life and the changes you’re hoping to make.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I also use a Solution-Focused approach to help you identify your strengths, recognize what is already working, and focus on the changes you want to make moving forward. Rather than staying focused only on the problem, we’ll work together to identify realistic, meaningful steps toward the life you want to create.

Christian Counseling

For clients who desire it, I incorporate Christian faith and spirituality into therapy as a source of strength, hope, and guidance. We can explore how your faith, values, prayer, Scripture, and relationship with God may support you through difficult seasons while working toward healing and growth. I approach Christian counseling with respect for your unique beliefs and where you are in your faith journey.

Grief Therapy

Grief can be one of the most painful and disorienting experiences we face, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. In grief therapy, I provide a safe and compassionate space to process your loss, make room for the emotions that come with it, and learn how to move forward while honoring the person, relationship, or life you’re grieving. My goal is not to “get over” your grief, but to help you find ways to carry it while slowly creating a sense of hope, meaning, and connection again.
