Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we will be following up with our consultation over the phone. Because I value finding the right fit when looking for a therapist, most first sessions are a welcoming into therapy and continuation of discussing some of the specific things you would like to work on together. You can expect to learn about the flow of sessions (using the virtual platform), gain answers to any questions you may have from the opening paperwork, and finish the session with a clear and specific goal for what we will be working towards together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths are that: I'm creative- I curate and design the session based on your individual needs. I'm a safe space- People often share that therapy with me is helpful, supportive, empowering, and easy going. I'm intentional- You leave each session with a take-away lesson. This may be something we're noticing together, a pattern that you're trying to break, or a lesson that you'd like to integrate.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My client's are smart, eager to learn, and willing to unpack things that they known they've been wanting to work on for some time. Often times they know that slowing down to pause, reflect, and process their experiences can help lead them towards feeling better but finding the right space, setting, or time has been a struggle. They are open and eager in wanting to learn new skills in communication and emotional regulation. They are ready to build up their toolkit, facing old wounds in exchange for a newer version of themselves.

Brainspotting

*VIP Therapy Intensives* Available for Booking for July 2025 -Fast Track, Streamlined, Effective Therapeutic Sessions- Maybe you've tried talk therapy and it wasn't the change that you were hoping for. You've been struggling for a while but can't find the time to devote to consist, regular sessions. This is for people who want to get to the root of the issues that you've gained insights on but keep falling back into old habits, staying stuck. If this is you or your partner, then you guys could benefit from a deeper, more underlying solution. Get unstuck and finally have the solution to the weight thats been dragging you and your life down. You're ready to finally put this behind you. Brainspotting is a mindful, gentle processes where we engage the brain’s natural self-healing process in order to release where trauma, anxiety, self-esteem, fears, or performance concerns are stuck in the body. many of our emotional experiences (trauma, anxiety, stress, etc.) are stored in the deeper, inner portion of the brain. Brainspotting goes deeper than traditional talk therapy, bypassing all of weekly to-do lists, worries, and even invalidations that we use on our own concerns. As a result of these sessions, you get to experience significant and lasting relief sooner.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

A very classic method that I often use to help: a. identify patterns or triggers that we find ourselves stuck in- (ex. shutting down when I get mad) b. the negative feelings that they illicit (anger and disappointment) that can get in the way of our productivity, happiness, or relationship repairing- c. Soothe and navigate ourselves through these triggers by moving towards productivity, happiness, and relationship repair instead of spiraling, self sabotaging, and getting stuck in anger/anxiety/depression/imposter syndrome.

Compassion Focused

Do you strive to be the best when caring for your beloved child, your fur-baby, your friend, your partner, and be a top performer at your job? Do you often find yourself feeling too tired at the end of the day or even dread wanting to follow through on those date night plans or those in-law obligations you committed to months ago? Theres an openness, an intentional willingness we have in wanting to show care towards the things we values. When those align with our values, we want to show up powerfully, stronger, more present, patient, and loving for those commitments. Even though we take the time to schedule quality time for our partnerships or our in-laws, why does it suddenly feel like such a big and grueling demand? In our work together, we take a deep dive into looking at the ways in which over-functioning, over giving, and unmanaged stress can actually lead to the opposite of what we want: resentment, burnout, conflict, and loss of meaning behind what once brought us joy. In Compassion focused work, I guide you in restructuring and holding space so that you can return to being the best version of yourself and therefore, showing up as the best version for others. In my years of utilizing this method, people often gain a new found sense of presence, loving calm and cool headedness, and feel like they are thriving again. We all need a compassionate space to breathe fuller, unpack, rejuvenate, and find meaning in our experiences in order to build resilience.

Couples Counseling

My goal in couples counseling is for the couple/partners to engage through navigating conflict or disconnection with the goal of coming back together in order to repair. In this space, I guide and hold space for: learning how to listen, how to respond, how to de-escalate, how to shift the focus on what's going well, how to communicate so that you can finally hear each other and move towards problem solving and solution. These skills are also the foundational tools for communicating effectively in the workplace, with your children, and with your loved ones. People often gain a sense of control and guidance when dealing with highly emotional conflict, a new found sense of desire for finding resolution together, and report a closer relationship with the person they're engaging in communicating with.
