Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Masters from Loma Linda University and have been practicing for about 4 years. I help young adults struggling through career stress, burnout, or adjustment as they transition into new roles and explore the best version of themselves. I have experience with a diverse population, from different backgrounds and life experiences. I work with each individual as they share their unique journey.
In a first session with me, clients can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where their needs and concerns are prioritized. I will start by introducing myself and explaining how therapy works (especially if it's your first time). I'll then ask some questions about you, your background, reason for therapy, and begin to explore your goals. My goal is to make this first session as comfortable as possible because I understand the first meeting can be scary or uncomfortable.
My capabilities include providing information and resources on coping mechanisms, mindfulness techniques, and strategies for managing stress and anxiety. Additionally, I can offer a supportive and nonjudgmental space for discussing feelings and experiences, as well as providing personalized advice and guidance tailored to individual needs. Whether it's offering practical tips for managing daily stressors, suggesting self-care practices to promote mental well-being, or simply lending an empathetic ear, I'm here to help individuals navigate through challenging times and empower them to take steps towards greater resilience and mental health.

Solution Focus is my go-to treatment method as I help clients see their strengths and qualities that will help them. get through obstacles. I remind clients of times they may have gone through something similar and how they've overcome such challenges. Through Solution Focus, we focus on small steps to work towards the goal and make it realistic and attainable.
I used CBT by encouraging clients to challenge unhelpful thoughts. Encourage them to notice and acknowledge the influence our emotions, thoughts, and behaviors have on one another.
It is your journey, your story; however, through narrative, I help you write or rewrite your story. The stories we tell ourselves are often based on messages received from society or our families. Through narrative I encourage clients to shift the language they used and rewrite the narrative in a different light.
