New to Grow
I am a licensed professional counselor dedicated to helping young adults navigate the complexities of faith and mental wellness. My approach is rooted in the belief that true healing happens when we address both deep-seated patterns of our past and the practical thoughts of our present. As a Christian counselor, I am passionate about walking alongside you as you bridge the gap between clinical psychological health and a vibrant purpose-filled life.
In our first session, the main priority is to ensure that you feel safe and heard. We will discuss your current challenges and what your goals are for the future. Think of it as a collaborative road-map building session where we decide on the best path forward for your specific needs.
My approach is collaborative and centered on your unique needs. My strength is in bridging the gap between clinical insight and everyday application, ensuring that every client feels, seen heard, and supported to create lasting change. I embody compassion and empathy to create a safe environment to discuss challenges and practice emotional vulnerability, while using my educational and occupational knowledge of CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy as well as strategies from polyvagal theory to facilitate deep self-discovery and coping with life's many changes.
I specialize in working with the client who's a driven young adult who feels they're doing everything 'right' but still feels internally lost. You might be navigating a major life transition- starting a new career, moving to a new city, or re-evaluating the faith you grew up with. You're looking for a space where intellectual questions and spirutal hunger can coexist, and your ready to find who God created you to be.
Christian Counseling
Navigating the quarter-life crisis doesn't have to be a solo journey. I specialize in helping young adults bridge the gap between where they are and who God called them to be. My goal is to help you find clarity in the chaos and a firm footing in your faith as you build your future.
Psychodynamic
Through a psychodynamic lens, we will explore how your early experiences have shaped your current relationships and your faith. In a grace filled environment, we'll uncover the unconscious patterns that keep you stuck.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use cognitive behavioral therapy to help identify the negative thoughts patterns holding you back and replace them with a healthier alternative. My goal is to equip you with practical tools to manage stress, build confidence and walk boldly into the life that God has planned for you.
