I am a licensed clinical social worker in the common wealth of Virginia. I received my Masters from Barry University and have been practicing for 5 years. I aim to help individuals who are struggling in the areas of relationships; marriage, family, or friendships. We are designed to be in community. Yet, relationships can be complex and many times client's are surprised to find out that many of their adult interactions are effected by childhood experiences or past hurts. Together we can untangle some of those webs in order to develop and nurture healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect
First session is primarily used to identify presenting issues and getting a set of goals established. These goals can change over time as growth or new presenting issues arise. However, they serve as a roadmap as we take the therapeutic journey together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of the comments I receive from my previous clients is the down to earth and relaxed atmosphere I provide. This is probably due to the fact that I myself had to process hard things in my own therapy sessions, so I understand what it is like to be on the receiving end of the therapeutic relationship.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Clinical rapport with your therapist is vitally important to progress. It is my goal to help clients who are willing to do the hard work, look introspectively at their strengths as well as weaknesses and together make a plan to address presenting issues.
