Tamara is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has been practicing in healthcare since 2005 starting as a RN up to most recently completing a Post Masters Psychiatric Certification at the University of Miami. Her career as a nurse practitioner spans over Quick care clinics, Primary care, Urgent care, Substance abuse treatment, and the treatment of multiple mental illnesses. Tamara is confident that she can support you on your journey to gain new perspectives and techniques that allow you to cope with whatever you may be struggling with.
At you first session we will work together to establish open rapport and grow trust well curtailing a treatment plan specific to you as the patient. There is no no one method or treatment that works for everyone your treatment plan will be specific to you while encouraging honest feedback from the client as we progress.
My greatest strength is my love for helping others and getting others to their optimal functioning level both mentally physically. I love to see the goodness in others and help them to see the good in themselves also. My career as been truly fulfilling as it has allowed me to be a servant to my community and I strive to make it a better place one client at a time.
She has experience working with clients in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, and addictions She is passionate about the care of her clients and aims to keep them at an optimal functioning level both physically and mentally. She can manage and treat a wide variety of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, sleep disorders, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, and more. We all go through challenges in life.
