LCSW, 7 years of experience
I am a licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina and Georgia, as well as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist in North Carolina, with over 8 years of experience walking alongside individuals ages 16–55+ through life’s challenges. My passion is helping people navigate stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, mood changes, and the lingering effects of trauma. I feel especially honored to work with those recovering from narcissistic relationships or past trauma, who are now ready to rediscover and rebuild their sense of self after years of putting others’ needs before their own. In our work together, I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and empowering space where you can begin to heal, grow, and reconnect with your authentic self. My therapy style is collaborative, warm, and supportive—I believe in meeting you exactly where you are and walking alongside you as you move toward your goals. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness practices, and elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Together, we will find strategies and tools that fit who you are and support lasting change.
In our first session, we’ll start with some gentle introductions to get to know each other. From there, we’ll explore what brings you here, your experiences around those concerns, and any past support or treatment you may have had. This time is about creating a safe space for you to share at your own pace.
Having worked with a diverse range of clients, I bring both depth of understanding and clinical expertise to each session. In our first meeting, we will explore your concerns and identify your goals for therapy, which we will revisit and adjust as your needs evolve. My approach is collaborative—I provide a supportive, empathic, and nonjudgmental space while also encouraging you to gain deeper insight into yourself and your experiences. Through dialogue, guided in-session exercises, and thoughtful homework assignments, I aim to help you build the tools and clarity needed to move toward your goals with confidence.
I specialize in working with ambitious, high-functioning individuals who appear to manage life’s responsibilities—whether in work, school, or relationships—yet often feel blocked or stuck in reaching their fullest potential. Many of the clients I work with are motivated and eager to grow, but may struggle with feelings of sadness, overwhelm, mood swings, or sleep difficulties behind the scenes. Together, we’ll create a safe space to uncover what’s getting in the way and begin building the tools, clarity, and confidence needed for you to step into your best self.
