Hello and welcome! I am a Licenced Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California and Nevada. My main priority is to work collaboratively with my clients to overcome the diverse and unique challenges in their lives. I seek to empower all my clients, so they can implement positive and healthy change they are proud of. Everyone deserves to have a space where their stories are heard and where they can be their truest selves. Think of our sessions as a partnership where you have the space to explore, heal, and grow with my support. I look forward to the possibility of joining you on your journey to a happier and healthier you!
During the first session, you'll be welcomed into a non-judgmental and inviting space to help you feel at ease in a new environment. I understand how scary first meetings can be and I invite you to share as little or as much as you feel comfortable with. We'll discuss what brought you here, your goals for therapy, and any concerns you might have. Most importantly, my aim is to start laying the foundation to meet you where you are and by creating a safe space where you feel respected and heard.
I'm able to create a balanced space that offers compassion and empathy, along with gentle honesty and knowledge. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all and I'm committed to tailor my methods to suit your needs and unique circumstances.
I love working with individuals ages 18+ whether it be navigating through life changes, struggling with depression and anxiety, or wanting to learn ways to communicate with those around them more effectively. Clients who are motivated and willing to engage in therapy and implement healthy coping skills have found the most success in and more importantly outside of therapy.
CBT is an approach that is used to explore how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. Recognizing unhealthy thought patterns and replacing them with healthier and intentional perspectives can shape your experience of life in a powerful and beautiful way. Together we will explore coping strategies that work for you to develop new ways of managing moods to improve your overall well-being.
