Hi! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas. I received my Masters from Lamar University, which is a CACREP accredited institution. I have been practicing for almost 3 years and have helped many clients to achieve more happiness and a more fulfilling life. I am also licensed to treat substance use disorders. I love working with adults, adolescents, and children and their families.
In our first session we will get to know each other better and begin to focus on the specific challenges that you’re experiencing. This will help to create a recovery plan designed specifically for you to guide us through the follow-up sessions.
I take a client-centered approach to therapy since no two clients are the same. I believe that collaboration and truly listening to the client can lead to significant change and growth.
I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment that allows clients to feel comfortable exploring the challenges related to anxiety, depression, and/or addiction. I focus on helping clients to improve communication, behavior, and boundaries so they can feel more confident in their ability to navigate the complexities of life.
I have used CBT since the beginning of my practice and it has helped many clients to learn how to develop coping skills and strategies to help manage mental health symptoms more effectively. We will utilize CBT to help challenge your thoughts and problematic emotions, which can lead to a more positive outlook, and a higher quality of life.
