Treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT skills to help clients strengthen emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and communication. These skills can support clients in managing intense emotions, reducing impulsive reactions, improving relationships, and responding to difficult situations in healthier ways.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients identify unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, and patterns that may be affecting their emotions and behaviors. Through CBT, I support clients in building insight, challenging negative thinking, and developing healthier ways to manage stress, anxiety, depression, conflict, and life transitions.

EMDR

I use EMDR to support clients in processing traumatic or distressing experiences that may continue to affect their daily life, relationships, and sense of self. EMDR can help reduce emotional distress connected to painful memories while strengthening healthier and more adaptive beliefs.

Trauma-Informed Care

I use Trauma-Informed Care to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, respected, and empowered. I recognize that past experiences can impact current emotions, relationships, parenting, and coping, and I work with clients at a pace that feels safe and supportive.

Parent-Child Interaction (PCIT)

I use PCIT-informed strategies to support parents and caregivers in strengthening their relationship with their children. This approach focuses on connection, positive attention, clear communication, consistent limits, and developmentally appropriate parenting responses.
