Welcome! My name is Carolyn and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. I have over 16 years of experience working with clients of all ages, in various settings including private practice, schools, & hospitals. Whether you are just starting out in life trying to find your path forward, are firmly planted in adulthood wondering if better days are ahead, or are in the sunset stage of life looking back on a lifetime of memories and possibly unresolved issues, I am here to listen. Life is full of transitions and change, and having someone to guide you when your path becomes unsteady is essential. We all have the inherent ability to grow and change, and the strength we need to become our better selves is already within us. We should all be living our best life, no matter what our age is!

We all reach levels of comfort with change at different speeds and it is important to move through the therapeutic process at your pace, not mine. By challenging clients to grow both in and out of session, you will see the strength you have within, and not be derailed from growth by prior negative experiences. My years of experience with clients of different ages, backgrounds, & beliefs, has afforded me the insight to see possibility where you may only see darkness.
I love working with clients of all ages and seeing the growth and acceptance that come from moving through the therapeutic process. By working together in session, and following through with homework and growth tasks outside of session, clients who fully embrace the process will find the most success. If you feel stuck or overwhelmed, don't worry - we will talk through those feelings and develop strategies together to help get you moving in a positive direction.
Do your thoughts sound like broken records playing the same negative statements over and over? Grief and loss are inescapable parts of life. Feelings of grief can come from many sources. Losing a loved one, changes in your physical abilities, leaving your place of employment, anticipating loss when a loved one has a progressive illness; these are all ways in which grief creeps into our life. We will walk through your grief and loss together in the hope that you will develop new coping skills and appreciation for the beauty that both was, in what was lost, and what is possible, in what lies ahead.
