My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

I am happy to speak with clients about how their Christian faith intersects with their mental health and stressors they must navigate.

Grief Therapy

I use grief therapy to help clients process the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral impact of loss while supporting them in adapting to life after that loss. My approach is client-centered and recognizes that grief is a highly individual experience with no single "right" way to grieve.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

It is important to be present with our feelings. However, most of us were taught by our families and by society to repress our feelings. It is a paradigm shift to begin to embrace rather than push down our feelings. Clients often feel relieved when they start to be present with various emotions. Together, we build skills that reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and support healthier ways of responding to life's challenges.
