Throughout my work as a therapist, I have learned that therapy can be a transformative experience. It is my goal to be your navigator in understanding the connections between thoughts, feelings and behaviors, while identifying and overcoming obstacles in the way of personal growth. My goal is to promote strengths and self discovery, mental and emotional growth and stability, and improvement with relationships and peers. This therapeutic journey is YOURS, and by being here you are already on your way to finding your best self!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

As your therapist, I want you to be comfortable, even during the uncomfortable and vulnerabilities that may be discussed. This is why I will always strive to ensure that I am providing you with a safe and welcoming space where your voice is heard and valued. Before your first session officially begins, I will explain my role in the process and how I can support you. You'll also have the opportunity to ask any questions or voice any concerns you may have. I will also help you understand confidentiality and answer any questions they may have about the overall process. During your first session, I will talk about some methods I might use, and how they work, and introduce some techniques and psychoeducation. It's normal to feel a mix of emotions, vulnerability, or even nervousness - you are opening up about your life. This is why I'm here, to support you through these feelings and provide a safe space for you to explore them.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

You know change and transitions are an inevitable part of life, but that doesn't make them any easier. They disrupt your routine, make you feel anxious, and as if you're losing all sense of control. Maybe you've thought of therapy before, but you struggled with the idea of seeking help for transitions that seem "normal." However, you've noticed that your anxiety that you once were able to control is increasing. In therapy, I strive to provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can process complex thoughts and emotions. You will learn more about imposter syndrome and how transitions can trigger analysis paralysis, making it difficult for you to make decisions. This is your chance to tell your story, sometimes hearing it out loud for the first time. Collaboratively, we can work on identifying any patterns or limiting beliefs that may be holding you back from embracing change and approaching transitions with confidence.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in working with symptoms of depression, anxiety, navigating major life changes/challenges, life coaching, and women’s health issues - including infertility, reproductive trauma, and perinatal mental health. My top priority is to ensure that clients feel encouraged and empowered by a warm, supportive and open environment, that is free from judgement. I try to find a space for humor in our meetings, and commit myself to utilizing both evidence-based practices and experience in each session.
