Hello, I'm Randi... I specialize in helping individuals and families who are coping with major life transitions. These transitions may include dealing with grief, changing family structure, career changes, chronic illness and relationship issues. These challenges can also impact mood, so I help treat anxiety and depression as well. Together we can develop a plan that works best to achieve your goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together we will get to know each other. Then we can look at the specific challenges that you are facing and what you are hoping to gain from therapy. From here we can create a plan for us to work through in future appointments.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Everyone has unique issues and concerns and no two clients are the same. Therefore, I use a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Some approaches may include CBT, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing or Solution Based Brief Therapy. Together we will identify the optimal coping strategies that will be most effective and develop a plan specific to your needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is my rich experience helping individuals manage major life transitions. I have a diverse background in the following areas: chronic illness, grief and loss, self esteem, anxiety and depression. In addition, I spent many years providing services in a medical based setting, working with individuals and families who were coping with acute and chronic illness. The impact of illness on the physical, emotional, financial and quality of an individual's life can cause enormous stress. In addition, working with clients that are experiencing relationship issues is another area of strength. I work to provide a safe space to discuss concerns and obstacles that a person may be experiencing. My preferred age is young adults (18 plus) through seniors. Please reach out, I am here to help you.
