My name is Shadia and I have been a therapist for fifteen years. I have worked with clients of all ages. My main focus are women. I work with trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and eating disorders. I work with females ages 17-75 years old . I am a firm believer that I am a traveler with you until you get to your destination. Once you are there, I get out of your car and hitch a ride with the next person to help them get to where they need to go. I believe that the healing process is a series of winding roads and I am here to help you find the path that serves you the best. I look forward to traveling with you.
The first session is spent getting to know each other. You can ask me questions to get to know me. I let you know what my process is and we work on building rapport and a strong therapeutic relationship.
My biggest strength is women empowerment. I work with eating disorders, trauma and grief counseling.
I work with teen girls ages 17 and females ages 19-75
Shadia Ibrahim offers therapy covered by Managed Health Services (Managed Medicaid), Medicaid - Managed Health Services and UnitedHealthcare/Optum - Medicaid in Indiana.
I use CBT to help my clients reduce symptoms of negative thoughts and work to improve emotional regulation.
I like to use this method to help clients to have control of the therapeutic process. It provides a safe space for clients to become more self-aware and find their own solutions.
