The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Throughout my 15 years career I have worked with numerous populations dealing with the common theme of trauma. Trauma is not relegated to one population and its effects vary widely. Focusing on how an individual's trauma is manifesting and impacting them is one of my specialities. I also have a specific focus on emotional eating co-morbid with depression and anxiety. If you feel you are using food to cope with overwhelming emotions and want to break out of the vicious cycle of sadness, guilt, and shame then it's imperative you address the links between your emotions and nutrition. In addition I have been working with a bariatric surgeon in the area for the past 5 years as a way to develop a deeper understanding of weight gain/ weight loss and how both impacts an individual uniquely I also support women navigating the emotional and mental health challenges that can arise during pregnancy and after childbirth. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, overwhelming emotions, changes in identity, birth-related concerns, or simply struggling to adjust to the many changes that come with motherhood, therapy can provide a safe and supportive space to process what you’re experiencing. My approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and tailored to your individual needs, helping you feel more grounded, supported, and confident throughout the perinatal journey.

Jillian has been wonderful with helping me see why I am at where I am in my life now and showing me how to accept and value myself while making small changes and that this is ok. She has been a wealth of insight and helping me to see why I have always seen things in ways that may have not always been the best for me. She provides me with the knowledge to move forward with her experience and recommendations.

Absolutely love Jillian she's very supportive and encouraging. She has helped me so much with coming up with realistic solutions to working through my struggles. She's a great listener and is able to give useful reflection to help me move forward. I have come a very long way since starting with her and I'm very grateful that I have her as my therapist.
