Hi, and welcome to my profile. If you are here, you are interested in making positive changes in your life. Whether you are wanting to improve a relationship, stop making the same old mistakes, or find relief from anxiety or depression, I would love to help you find your way. Together we can uncover the fears, beliefs, and judgments that are holding you back so you can move forward and enjoy your life! I am a seasoned therapist who loves working with adults of all ages who are ready to improve their lives. You may only need a few sessions to get you where you want to go, or you may want to take a deeper dive into exploring the obstacles you are facing and the reasons you are feeling stuck or unhappy. My job, as a successful therapist, is to provide you with the help you are seeking so you can one day say "Thanks Kate, I got what I needed!"
In our first session, I will ask you a lot of questions to help me get to know you, and I will answer any questions you may have. Then we will identify the problems you want to work on, and create a plan of action, including immediate steps you can take to reach your desired goal.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is the WISDOM I have gained from my life experience, and from my 27+ years in the business of helping others lead happier lives. Another strength I bring is COMPASSION for how hard we are all trying to do our best in life, and how easy it can be to lose our way. Finally, I am strong in my absolute CERTAINTY that everyone, with the proper guidance, has the capacity to change themselves and their life circumstances.
I work best with adult women and men who are in need of a little guidance to improve the quality of their lives. Whether you are struggling with life changes, or are feeling stuck and want to change your current circumstances, therapy can help you find your way. I believe we all have an inner wisdom that we may not always know how to access. I love helping people connect with that part of themselves and learn to follow their own amazing guidance!

I have been using mindfulness-based therapy, along with many other modalities, for the past 27 years to help my clients understand the very real connection between their thoughts, their feelings, and their body, and their current life experiences. Clients often leave feeling more confident and empowered by this new understanding.

Kate is very non-judgmental and validating. She listens, she gives simple but empowering guidance, but also leaves a lot of room to discuss, and for you to talk, and to process what she's saying.
