About me

I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, understanding, and evidence-based care. I work with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, life transitions, and the lasting effects of difficult life experiences. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can work together to identify your goals, explore the challenges you're facing, and develop practical tools to help you move forward. For clients who desire it, I also integrate Christian faith and biblical principles into therapy in a way that honors your beliefs and supports your personal goals. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for support through a difficult season, I would be honored to walk alongside you. My hope is that you'll leave each session feeling heard, encouraged, and equipped with the tools and confidence to create meaningful, lasting change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Clients can expect a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where they feel heard, respected, and understood. I believe that healing begins in a safe relationship, so my goal is to create an environment where you can be honest about your struggles without fear of criticism or shame. Our sessions are collaborative. I believe lasting change comes from both insight and action, so sessions often include learning new coping skills, exploring patterns of thinking and behavior, processing difficult emotions, and creating realistic goals between sessions. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, psychoeducation, trauma-informed care, and EMDR when appropriate. Every treatment plan is individualized because no two people or life experiences are exactly alike. Above all, I want you to leave each session feeling supported, encouraged, and equipped with practical tools you can begin using in your everyday life. Healing is a journey, and my hope is that you'll leave therapy with greater self-awareness, renewed hope, increased resilience, and confidence in your ability to navigate life's challenges.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

Through a solution focused and strengths based approach you can expect to feel heard and like you truly matter. I am trained in a variety of methods like cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. I also like to use somatic approaches and am trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing). The true focus of treatment is based upon YOUR goals, not my agenda. We will determine the best treatment plan for you, no matter what approach that may involve. Your healing is the most important part of this process!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I feel that my biggest strength in being an effective therapist is my personal life experiences and the reasons why I am so passionate about my work. I am very compassionate and see all people as unique, genuine and all striving for the same basic needs of acceptance, safety, and hope for the future. Sometimes life is very tough and it's hard to deal with things alone, allow me to take time to get to know you and begin your journey to becoming the best you can be.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who may look like they have it all together on the outside but feels overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or emotionally exhausted on the inside. You may find yourself overthinking, carrying the weight of past experiences, struggling with self-doubt, or having difficulty adjusting to changes in your life. I especially enjoy working with women navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. You may recognize that experiences from your past continue to shape how you think, feel, and respond today, and you’re ready to understand those patterns and begin healing at a deeper level. You don’t have to know exactly what you need from therapy—you simply need a willingness to begin. Together, we can work toward understanding the root of what you’re experiencing, developing practical coping skills, challenging unhealthy beliefs, and creating meaningful change. For clients who desire it, I also welcome integrating Christian faith and biblical perspectives into the counseling process.
