I am a licensed psychologist with a doctoral degree and 15 years of experience. My professional training forms the foundation of my approach to therapy, but I believe that each person I work with brings valuable insights that enrich my practice. I am dedicated to fostering a meaningful, collaborative therapeutic experience tailored to the unique needs of every individual I have the honor of working with.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I see therapy as a collaborative partnership and encourage your questions and input throughout the process. I’ll make sure to check in regularly to ensure we’re aligned and that we’re focusing on what matters most to you. Your feedback is important to me, and I’m always open to adjusting our approach if something doesn’t feel right, so we can create a space that truly supports your needs. While I encourage openness, I also actively participate in sessions, offering my insights and perspectives to enrich our discussions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Clients often tell me that it’s clear how much I care and that I bring warmth, genuine engagement, and a thoughtful balance of support and directness when needed. They frequently share that they feel comfortable opening up about themselves, even on challenging or sensitive topics, without feeling judged or ashamed.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Much of my career has been dedicated to working in university counseling centers, where I have supported many college students through a wide range of challenges. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with adults beyond college age, including those who have experienced trauma. My goal is to provide compassionate and effective care tailored to each individual's unique needs and circumstances.

My treatment methods

Existential

Existential therapy is a type of counseling that helps people explore the big questions in life, like "Who am I?", "What is my purpose?", and "How do I find meaning?" It focuses on helping clients face challenges like anxiety, loneliness, or feeling stuck by encouraging them to take ownership of their choices and live in a way that feels true to themselves. Instead of staying on the surface looking only at symptoms, existential therapy is about understanding your values, finding meaning in your experiences, and creating a fulfilling life despite the uncertainties and struggles we all face. It’s like having a conversation about what really matters to you and how to live authentically.
