Greetings and welcome. I'm glad you're here! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida. I received a Masters in Social Work (MSW) in 2014, and have been practicing in community mental health and education settings since that time. My practice focuses on helping individuals identify barriers to success and develop an actionable plan to move past them. If you're wondering why you struggle to make friends, can't seem to stop worrying, aren't sure what your next step in life is, feel like you're not good enough, or just need to talk through difficult experiences, I would love the opportunity to work with you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we’ll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you’re facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I bring a calm, reassuring presence to each session, for every client. I will listen attentively and without judgement. I will ensure you feel safe and comfortable, so open and honest communication and exploration can occur.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The tone of our thoughts is a powerful indicator of how we feel about ourselves. CBT examines how our thoughts impact our emotions and behaviors. We'll use CBT skills throughout our time together to reflect, evaluate and improve.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

We'll use mindfulness to keep you grounded in the present, striving to calm excessive worries or anxieties. Strategies such as guided relaxation, breathing exercises, engaging our senses, visualization, and positive affirmations or mantras are just some examples.

Trauma Informed Care

Traumatic experiences have the potential to impact every aspect of our lives. You deserve a safe, supportive, judgment free environment in which you can acknowledge, process, and begin to heal from these experiences. Building trust and rapport between client and therapist is paramount, and this aspect of your treatment will be given the upmost respect and care.
