Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Masters Degree from Florida Atlantic University, and have been working in the field of Mental Health and Substance Abuse treatment since the beginning of 2019. I have experience as an inpatient Primary Therapist, a Clinical Supervisor, and an outpatient Primary Therapist serving the US Veteran population.
During our initial session I will gather more detailed background information from you, we will explore your current situation together, and we'll get to know each other. This will allow us to build therapeutic rapport and set specific goals/objectives for future sessions.
I believe my greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to empathize with my clients. As someone who has experienced my own struggles with mental health, I have insight surrounding the ways in which this can impact every aspect of life. I have learned first hand, and through my education and professional experience, a myriad of ways to effectively manage mental health disorders and cultivate resilience.
I love working with adults of all ages. I have extensive experience with individuals from ages 18 all the way into their 80s. I best serve clients who are struggling with depression/mood disorders, anxiety, addiction, trauma, lack of self-esteem/self-worth, and codependency/relationship issues.

Down to earth, open, and provides feedback while also touching base and validating the emotions felt within the moment. Provides a reason to the why and education that is scientifically backed. A positive force to be reached and looking forward to continue working with her.
I have been utilizing CBT within my practice for the past five years. I've watched countless clients learn how to effectively manage anxiety, depression and other mental health symptoms through the implementation of CBT concepts. We will use CBT to identify unhelpful thought patterns you may be engaging in and the ways in which these are impacting your emotional and behavioral responses. We will also explore adaptive ways to counteract negative thought processes, cope with challenges you are experiencing, adopt healthier behaviors, and improve your overall well-being.
I often use DBT concepts within my therapy approach to assist clients in improving their ability to implement acceptance, emotional regulation skills, and healthy communication strategies. We will work together to pinpoint which DBT concepts and techniques are most appropriate for your unique situation and improve your motivation towards growth and change.
Motivational Interviewing is an extremely valuable and collaborative tool that I have employed to guide, empower, and inspire my clients in their therapeutic journey. This modality will enable us to evaluate your personal goals, increase motivation for change, and resolve ambivalence.
