As a board-certified psychiatrist, I bring both clinical expertise and a deeply compassionate approach to patient care. I combine evidence-based treatment with attentive listening and individualized planning, recognizing that each patient’s experience is unique. My goal is to provide care that is both clinically sound and genuinely supportive.
With more than 17 years of post-residency clinical experience in the United States across multiple levels of care and practice settings, I have developed extensive expertise in managing a wide range of psychiatric conditions.

First session
Our first session is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation designed to understand you as a whole person, not just a list of symptoms. We will review your current concerns, psychiatric and medical history, past treatments, family history, and relevant life experiences. I will ask structured questions to clarify diagnoses and better understand how your symptoms are affecting your daily functioning. Equally important, this session is an opportunity for you to share your goals and ask questions. Together, we will begin developing a personalized treatment plan, which may include medication management, psychotherapy recommendations, lifestyle modifications, or further evaluation as needed. My goal in the first session is to create a safe, respectful, and collaborative space where you feel heard and understood.
Strengths
My greatest strengths as a psychiatrist are my clinical thoroughness, calm presence, and ability to build trust. I approach each case with diagnostic precision while remaining attentive to the patient’s lived experience. Patients often value that I listen carefully, explain clearly, and make thoughtful, individualized treatment decisions.
Ideal clients
My ideal patients are individuals who are open to a collaborative treatment process and are motivated to better understand themselves and their mental health. They may be navigating mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, or life transitions, and are willing to engage actively in treatment
Treatment methods
Supportive
Supportive psychotherapy is a structured, relationship-based intervention aimed at maintaining or improving a patient’s level of functioning by providing emotional support, reality testing, encouragement, psychoeducation, and practical problem-solving strategies. It is particularly useful for patients experiencing acute stress, chronic illness, or limited psychological resilience.
