I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist who works with teens, young adults, couples, and parents navigating relationships, transitions, anxiety, identity, and the pressures that can come with trying to figure out what comes next. My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can be fully yourself while also gaining a deeper understanding of the patterns, emotions, and relationships shaping your life.

First session

In the first session, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and able to share what brings you to therapy at your own pace. We’ll begin exploring your concerns, important relationships, and what you hope to gain from our work together. Whether I’m meeting with an individual, couple, or parent, I focus on understanding the bigger picture and identifying the patterns and goals that can help guide our work moving forward.

Strengths

I bring warmth, curiosity, humor, and genuine engagement into the therapy room. I’m not a therapist who only sits back and listens. I’ll make space for difficult emotions while also asking thoughtful questions, noticing patterns, and gently challenging you when it may be helpful. I tend to look beneath the immediate problem to understand what is happening emotionally and relationally, while keeping our work grounded in what matters most to you.

Ideal clients

My ideal clients are teens, young adults, couples, and parents who want to better understand themselves and the patterns shaping their relationships. They may be navigating anxiety, life transitions, identity, family stress, communication difficulties, or feeling stuck in familiar cycles. They are open to reflection, curious about where these patterns come from, and interested in building stronger connections with themselves and the people who matter most to them.

Treatment methods

Attachment-based

I use an attachment-based approach to help clients understand how past and present relationships may shape the way they connect with others. Together, we explore these patterns with curiosity and work toward building healthier, more secure relationships.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I use emotion-focused approaches to help clients better understand what their emotions are communicating and what needs may be underneath them. We work together to make sense of emotional patterns and create new ways of responding that feel more connected and intentional.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I use a person-centered approach by creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel understood and explore what matters most to them. I support clients in building greater self-awareness, self-trust, and confidence in making choices that feel authentic to them.
