About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who supports adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, and life transitions. My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by both professional training and lived experience. I’ve worked in a range of mental health settings: supporting clients in recovery, on psychiatric holds, and in longer-term therapy. I’ve facilitated groups and worked with clients from many walks of life, including those facing major life transitions, chronic illness, or longstanding mental health challenges. Over time, I found myself drawn more and more to supporting adults and couples through deeply personal and complex experiences, especially around identity, relationships, and parenthood. My work is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves care that honors their full story. I became a therapist because I believe in people’s capacity to grow and heal, and because I know how powerful it is to feel truly understood.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a welcoming, low-pressure space to start getting to know each other. I’ll ask about what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and any relevant background that feels important to share. I’ll also explain how I work and invite you to ask questions so you can decide if I’m the right fit for you. You don’t need to come in with a perfectly clear goal or a neat narrative. Just bring yourself, as you are. Some people feel a little nervous starting therapy, and that’s totally normal. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and comfortable enough to begin exploring whatever is on your mind or heart. The first session is just the beginning of building a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, collaboration, and care.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring curiosity, empathy, and a nonjudgmental presence into each session. Clients often tell me they feel safe, seen, and gently challenged when we work together. I value honesty and directness, but always delivered with compassion. You can expect me to really listen, reflect back what I hear, and offer insights that help you connect the dots. I’m also comfortable with silence, emotion, and complexity; I don’t expect you to have everything figured out when you walk in the door. Whether we’re exploring a painful experience or celebrating a win, I strive to create a space where your full humanity is welcome.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I primarily work with young adults and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, chronic stress, or relationship challenges. I have a strong focus on individuals and couples in the perinatal period, including those facing infertility, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, and the complex identity shifts that can come with becoming (or trying to become) a parent. I also support clients who are unsure whether they want to become parents or are grieving the loss of that possibility. Many of my clients are in caregiving roles, managing health concerns, or dealing with burnout and overwhelm. I’m especially attuned to the emotional impact of transition, whether it’s related to parenthood, partnerships, work, or identity. If you're feeling stuck, disconnected, or simply not yourself, therapy can be a space to reconnect and realign.
