(she/her)
Hi! I’m Noraliz Nagarsheth, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida, Massachusetts, and Texas. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Central Florida and have been practicing since 2013. I specialize in helping adults and young adults manage anxiety, depression, and trauma. I offer virtual therapy across Florida, Massachusetts, and Texas. My goal is to create a supportive, healing environment where you can explore your challenges, develop coping skills, and work toward lasting change that enhances your overall well-being and personal growth.
In our first session, you can expect a comfortable and nonjudgmental space where we’ll get to know each other. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any challenges you're facing. From there, I’ll help create a plan tailored to your needs and begin working on strategies to support your growth.
My greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to help clients uncover the deeper meaning behind their emotions, thoughts, and beliefs. I am passionate about guiding individuals to gain insight into their present selves by unraveling patterns that shape their experiences. Once we identify limiting beliefs, I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to challenge those beliefs, empowering clients to adopt new behaviors and live more fulfilling lives.
I work best with individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or burdened by past experiences and are looking for support in making meaningful changes. I help clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, or trauma develop insight, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose.

EMDR
EMDR therapy is an integrative psychotherapy method that repeatedly uses bilateral stimulation to activate opposite sides of the brain. Therapists often use eye movements to facilitate bilateral stimulation. These eye movements mimic the period of sleep referred to as rapid eye movement or REM sleep. This portion of sleep is frequently considered when the mind processes recent events in the person’s life. EMDR seems to help the brain reprocess the trapped memories, so that standard information processing is resumed. Therapists often use EMDR to help clients uncover and process beliefs developed from relational traumas or childhood abuse or neglect.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or CBT, is a short-term, problem-focused form of behavioral treatment that helps people see the difference between beliefs, thoughts, and feelings and free them from unhelpful behavior patterns. CBT is grounded in the belief that a person’s perception of events – rather than the events themselves – determines how they will feel and act in response.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) is a short-term, goal-focused, evidence-based therapeutic approach that incorporates positive psychology principles and practices. It helps clients change by constructing solutions rather than focusing on problems.
