Hello, I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois. I have been a therapist for the over 20 years working in Child Welfare, Mental Health, Domestic Violence and Individuals with Trauma and Anxiety, that is stopping them from moving forward. I am experienced in assisting clients who want to overcome their past negative experiences and trauma, move on to a more rewarding and fulfilling life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I will build trust by being personalized, and focused on friendly actively listening. Demonstrating genuine interest to their needs, so that the client is comfortable in telling their story. Validating their experiences, clearly explaining the therapeutic process and assisting the client in developing goals for their future sessions, while also addressing their immediate concerns, letting the client decide which goal they want to focus on first.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am very good at building rapport with clients allowing them to open up to me by presenting myself as trusting in a non-judgmental manner. Actively listening to their story without showing bias regardless of their history, age, culture, race, sexuality, or religion. I establish up front that I am there to work with them to assist them in reaching whatever goal they have to reach a more fulfilling and developing life.
