I’m a therapist who believes meaningful change happens through a combination of self-understanding, practical support, and a strong therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and able to explore their experiences without judgment. You don’t have to carry this pain alone. I am here to help. I believe healing should be affordable and accessible, and I offer high-quality, affordable therapy tailored to each person’s unique experiences and goals. My work integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients overcome distress, process difficult experiences, and move toward a more peaceful, balanced, and focused life. My approach is rooted in the belief that you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to provide a warm, supportive space along with practical tools to guide you toward genuine healing, peace, and freedom. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, burnout, self-esteem concerns, trauma, and emotional overwhelm. Many of my clients are thoughtful, high-functioning people who may appear “fine” on the outside while internally struggling with overthinking, self-criticism, people-pleasing, or feeling disconnected from themselves. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in curiosity. Together, we work to better understand patterns in thoughts, emotions, and relationships while developing healthier coping strategies, emotional resilience, stronger boundaries, and greater self-trust. Whether you come to therapy with a specific goal or simply a sense that something in your life needs to change, you are welcome here. “You’re not broken — you’re hurting, and that’s different.”

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first therapy session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a safe, supportive, and collaborative relationship. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if it’s your first time, but there is no “right” way to show up. You do not need to have everything figured out before we begin. During the first session, we will talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you are currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. We may also explore important aspects of your personal history, relationships, emotional experiences, and current stressors to help me better understand your unique experiences and needs. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share any concerns, and get a sense of whether the therapeutic relationship feels like a good fit for you. Therapy works best when you feel comfortable, respected, and supported. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to provide guidance, evidence-based tools, and a supportive space for healing and growth. Together, we will move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you. You do not have to carry everything alone anymore.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. I understand that opening up can feel vulnerable, and I strive to build a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, compassion, authenticity, and emotional safety. I combine empathy with evidence-based approaches, helping clients not only process difficult emotions and experiences but also develop practical tools for lasting change. My style is collaborative and adaptable, recognizing that every person’s story, needs, and pace of healing are different. Clients often appreciate my calm, supportive presence and my ability to help them make sense of overwhelming thoughts, emotions, and patterns in a way that feels empowering rather than shame-based. I am especially skilled at helping individuals navigate anxiety, emotional overwhelm, self-criticism, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to be honest about their pain while also feeling supported enough to move toward growth, clarity, and self-trust.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to serve clients who are thoughtful, curious, and motivated to better understand themselves, even if they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about where to begin. Many are navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, burnout, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, or patterns that no longer serve them. I work especially well with people who: Want practical tools as well as deeper self-understanding Feel emotionally “on” all the time and struggle to slow their minds down Tend to overthink, self-criticize, people-please, or carry high expectations of themselves Are processing difficult relationships, attachment wounds, or recurring interpersonal patterns Are navigating identity development, career stress, major decisions, or transitions in adulthood Value a collaborative, honest, and nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship Clients do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Some arrive with clear goals, while others simply know they want life or relationships to feel different. I aim to help clients build insight, emotional resilience, self-trust, healthier coping strategies, and a stronger sense of alignment with themselves and the lives they want to create. My approach tends to fit clients who appreciate reflection, openness, and active engagement in the therapeutic process, while also recognizing that growth happens at different paces and often includes setbacks along the way.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, goal-oriented talk therapy that teaches you how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. It operates on the principle that by identifying and changing negative thought patterns, you can actively alter your mood and change unhelpful habits.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured therapy that helps the brain reprocess traumatic memories to reduce their emotional impact. Instead of focusing heavily on talk therapy, it uses guided side-to-side eye movements (or other physical tapping) to help your brain naturally process and integrate distressing events.

Family Therapy

Family therapy is a type of psychotherapy that improves communication, resolves conflicts, and strengthens dynamics within a family unit. Rather than treating just one individual, the therapist looks at the family as a whole system, helping members recognize patterns, establish healthy boundaries, and support one another.

Grief Therapy

Grief therapy provides a safe space to process profound loss, helping individuals adapt to a new reality rather than "forgetting" the deceased. Therapists validate the griever's unique emotions, introduce coping strategies, and support them in finding ways to honor memories while reinvesting in life.

Couples Counseling

Couple therapy is used to help partners understand their relationship, resolve conflicts, and improve emotional intimacy. Rather than treating just one individual, the therapist acts as a neutral guide to observe, mediate, and reshape how both partners interact.
