I'm a psychotherapist with 35-plus years of experience. After completing training in clinical social work and psychology at the University of Maryland (M.S.W., 1988) and Saybrook Institute (Ph.D., 1991), I began practicing as a family, couples and individual therapist. I have hosted on radio/podcasts, have written two books and thousands of self-help articles in my "Life's a Beach" column for nationwide Gannett media. I love working with clients in the here-and-now, and finding solutions to move forward with life. My primary goal is to help you help yourself. I will guide and coach you, not tell you what to do. Diagnostic labels are useful at times, but you are not your labels. I'm your thinking partner: We'll reason and think our way to what makes sense together.

Hello, I'm Georgina!
I have had numerous experiences and training opportunities throughout my career. I have served as Lead Pediatric Therapist, Group Therapist, and Clinical Supervisor. I have worked in both intensive inpatient settings and with people with mild, temporary issues. I am licensed in Nevada and California and am certified in several evidence-based practices. Feel free to send me a message to see if we might be a good fit.
I grew up in Las Vegas, NV in a big, blended family.
During my internship and following graduation, I worked at an inpatient treatment facility for teens dealing with high suicidality, self-harming behaviors, and psychosis. It was during this time that I began to recognize how much work can be done to prevent crises before they strike, rather than trying to figure it all out afterwards. Also, it isn't just big things like suicide that can be prevented-working to decrease stress, anxiety, increase fulfillment..these are worthwhile too.
If you feel nervous/weird/awkward/anxious about therapy, that’s normal.
All I can say is, you matter. You are an important part of the world. Let’s work together and see if maybe, just maybe, things could get a little better.
Hi! I’m Victoria Ewing, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 23 years of experience supporting individuals across diverse settings. I hold both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work from the University of Kentucky, and I’m licensed in Kentucky (since 2007), Nevada (since 2023) and Ohio (since 2026). My clinical background spans outpatient primary care, addiction treatment, medical and psychiatric hospitals, in-home therapy, private practice, and community mental health. I bring a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to every session, grounded in deep respect for each client’s journey.
I specialize in working with adults and older adults navigating trauma, emotional regulation, and identity exploration. My approach integrates evidence-based modalities like CBT, DBT, and EFT, tailored to each client’s needs. I’m passionate about legacy work, intentional living, and creating structured tools—planners, trackers, and psychoeducational resources—that empower clients to deepen insight, build resilience, and foster lasting change.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with a Doctorate in Clinical Social Work. I specialize in supporting women who are carrying the weight of the world—juggling responsibilities, managing emotional wounds, and trying to hold it all together. My approach is rooted in compassion, cultural sensitivity, and evidence-based practices. I create a space where women feel safe to unpack their pain, process life’s challenges, and reconnect with their inner strength. My goal is to help you move from surviving to thriving—on your terms.
With over 10 years of experience, I help adults, young adults, and college students navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, overthinking, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients appear to have it all together on the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break. Many of my clients are high-functioning but internally overwhelmed, overthinking and emotionally exhausted.
My approach is warm, supportive, and insight-driven, while also being direct and goal-oriented. I use evidence-based techniques to help clients build practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change. I work especially well with individuals who are ready to better understand themselves, improve their relationships, and move forward with more clarity and confidence.
I am licensed in Illinois, Nevada and Florida and provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their growth and healing process.
