Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduated with a Master of Social Work from Wayne State University. She has experience working with youth and adults in various treatment settings, including community mental health, juvenile justice, autism services, and child welfare. She specializes in childhood and adolescent mental health, family therapy, depression and anxiety, and stress related to significant life changes.
I am passionate about supporting individuals, groups, and communities through healing, growth, and emotional wellness. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and strengths-based, with a focus on helping clients feel empowered, supported, and understood.
Therapy is not about “fixing” a person. It is about helping clients reconnect with themselves, build self-awareness, strengthen emotional wellness, and create practical tools for everyday life. We honor each client’s story and work together to create a path toward healing, confidence, and stability.
I always strive to ensure that each session leaves my clients feeling as though they have gained new insights or experienced positive changes. My mission is to make a meaningful impact during every session. Throughout our time together, I aim for you to feel genuinely understood and heard. We will collaborate to find solutions, explore various options, and gain fresh perspectives on your challenges. Clients often come to me when they feel stuck, and by the end of each session, I hope you will feel hopeful and see new possibilities for healing.
Hello and thank you for taking the time to reach out! Do you ever have those days when things are especially difficult?? Many of the people that I meet are looking for support with mental health, substance abuse, and managing traumatic events. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as well as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Currently, I work with adults and youth, and I'm a strong believer in the mental/physical health connection. I also support a small hospice team in my area so am comfortable having uncomfortable conversations.
I believe in strengths-based recovery that looks at all the systems that can impact us. Bits and pieces of different models incorporated together tend to have the most benefit, based on the person's needs. I have seen so many great successes! I enjoy supporting the people I work with and going through their journey with them. I am currently licensed in IL, MI and TN. When I am not in sessions, you will find me hiking with the doggos, traveling with my social groups,, and going into "Mom Mode" with my three kids.
I look forward to connecting with you :)
Over 15 years ago, I began my work as a licensed professional counselor. Since then, I’ve worked with diverse individuals and consistently seen that when people are empowered with the right information, they can often find the best solutions to their challenges. Using a range of evidence-based therapies, I guide purposeful conversations and reflection to support that process.
I believe in discussing difficult topics with compassion and without judgment. Because you are the expert on your own life, collaboration is central to our work. Together, we develop practical and creative solutions, remain flexible as needs evolve, and build a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship focused on your goals.
My experience includes four years working primarily with children and teenagers facing anxiety, mood concerns, relationship challenges, stress, and future planning. Prior to that, I worked in community mental health supporting clients ages 11 to 99 with a wide range of mental health concerns.
I approach each client with respect for their resilience and capacity for growth. My role is to offer clarity, tools, and guidance as we work together to build confidence, develop strategies, and create meaningful progress toward your goals.

My name is Danni, and I’m a Christian - Licensed Therapist with degrees in Clinical Social Work and Marriage and Family Counseling. I’ve worked in mental health across a range of settings, but it was my nearly eight years of experience working with aggressive, nonverbal children and clients on the autism spectrum that shaped my passion for understanding behavior as unspoken, unconscious communication.
This experience taught me to read beneath the surface and recognize that our behaviors often reflect deeper emotional needs and unresolved wounds. While my roots are in behavioral work, my focus is on helping adults and adolescents explore their inner worlds—especially through inner child work. I believe the inner child is present in all of us, and that healing comes from understanding and nurturing these parts of ourselves.
My approach is direct, thorough, and compassionate. I am committed to helping clients get to the root of their distress and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life.
I offer progressive therapy grounded in psychodynamic trauma processing and inner child work. Together, we’ll go beyond surface symptoms to trace pain to its origins, uncover where coping mechanisms and triggers first formed, and support you in healing and integrating your whole self.
This process can be intense and challenging, but I am here to walk with you every step of the way. My goal is to help you move from surviving to truly living.
Perhaps you've spent years trying to understand your family dynamics, navigate painful relationships, and make sense of why the past still hurts. You've talked about your experiences, gained insight, and tried to move forward, yet something still feels unresolved. You're tired of questioning yourself, minimizing your pain, and carrying the emotional weight of experiences you never asked for. You want to feel heard, trust yourself again, and finally begin healing from what you've been carrying.

Hi there, my name’s Ephraim Tokar. I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 20+ years of experience. My specialties consist of relationships, men’s issues, career counseling, and psychosomatic illnesses. I received my Bachelors degree in Child Psychology, working initially with the adolescent population before transitioning over to adults. I then received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Whether it's individuals or couples, I'm happy to get to work with whomever comes my way. I do my best to facilitate a warm, trusting environment. Looking forward to meeting with you soon!
Hi, my name is Tishina and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. For the past eight years, I've had the privilege of helping people navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood changes, and the challenges that come with everyday problem solving. I became a therapist because therapy changed my life. It helped me heal, find my voice, and believe in myself and now I'm passionate about offering that same support and hope to the people that I work with.
Each person interprets the world through a lens shaped by experiences that are uniquely their own. My approach is integrative and solution-focused, drawing on evidence-based methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Existential Therapy — which explores the deeper questions of meaning and purpose in life.
I partner with my clients to build a deeper understanding of their unique psychological makeup and to address the ways past experiences may still be affecting them today. Together, we don't just identify the challenges you face — we explore their roots and develop practical, personalized strategies to reduce their impact on your life and relationships.
We all carry an "internal blueprint"—a set of old scripts and historical templates that dictate how we react to the world. Often, we don’t realize these blueprints exist until we find ourselves hitting the same walls in our relationships, our careers, or our own self-perception. I work with individuals and couples who are ready to investigate these patterns and move toward real, observable change.
My approach focuses on the connection between your history and your current actions. My background in biological psychology has taught me that while biology is vital, it isn’t the boss. The science shows us that our brains are profoundly social; therefore, the real work happens within the relationship we build together. We treat our sessions as a live map to identify and rewrite the ingrained habits that no longer serve you.
The goal is to move you from a state of reaction to a state of grounded agency. We work to restore your capacity for intentional action and give you the clarity needed to be a deliberate, authentic presence in your own life.
1. I like to work with clients to set up times to meet together. The calendar system can be challenging.
2. If you wish to work on couple's counseling, please message me first, as I generally only work private pay.
When we begin our work together, the first thing you’ll notice is a "take your shoes off" atmosphere. I believe therapy works best when it feels less like a clinical exam and more like a candid, over-the-coffee-table conversation. This is a space for an honest, active partnership where we bypass clinical clichés to get to the root of what is actually happening in your life.

I am a licensed professional counselor with over 20 years experience supporting individuals on their journey towards healing and personal growth. My priority is to create a safe, supportive and empowering therapeutic environment where meaningful change can take place.
I am trained in EMDR and hypnotherapy, and I take an integrative, holistic approach to treatment. I believe that to truly understand the challenges a person is facing it is essential to consider the whole person - mind, body and lifestyle. This perspective allows us to uncover deeper patterns and create lasting, sustainable change.
My approach is client-centered and collaborative. I believe that your are the expert of your own life and therapy is a partnership where your voice, experiences, and goals guide the process.
I view therapy as a powerful journey- one that supports you in becoming the healthiest version of yourself while creating a life that feels aligned, fulfilling, and intentional. I look forward to working with you to navigate challenges, build resilience, and achieve your personal goals.
As a therapist, it is my priority to create a therapeutic atmosphere that promotes growth and positive changes. I am trained in EMDR and hypnotherapy. I think that to truly understand what a person is having difficulties with it is important to study a person’s overall lifestyle, this has led me on a journey to study holistic therapy. Because I believe that each person is in control of their therapy sessions, I utilize a person-centered approach. I truly believe that therapy is a process that can move you toward being the healthiest version of yourself and living the life you desire. I look forward to working with you to address your challenges and realize your goals.
I come from a first responder family, and it shaped how I understand the people I work with. I built my practice specifically for law enforcement, fire, EMS, dispatchers/911, and veterans — people who carry things most providers have never had to sit with, let alone treat. I'm not interested in being another therapist who nods along without understanding the job. I get it, and that changes what happens in the room.
Not all the work is about the job, either. Plenty of clients come to me for personal issues — relationship struggles, childhood stuff, grief, anxiety, things that have nothing to do with the badge or uniform. Being from this world just means I already understand the context you're operating in, whatever you're bringing to the room.
I use evidence-based treatments — including EMDR, Brainspotting, and Prolonged Exposure, among others — to help clients process trauma that others may not fully understand. I also draw on Critical Incident Stress Management and Psychological First Aid for cumulative exposure, not just single-incident trauma. Whether it's an officer-involved shooting, years of runs finally catching up with someone, or something from long before the job started, I know how to work with it directly instead of dancing around it.
My style is direct and less formal. I'm not going to make you explain your job to me or treat your coping mechanisms as automatically pathological. I'll call things what they are and won't waste your time with fluff. I work entirely via telehealth — meet with me from home, your vehicle between calls, wherever gives you privacy. If you want a therapist who won't flinch and actually understands the world you operate in, I'd like to work with you.
The great poet Rumi wrote "out beyond ideas of wrong-doing and right-doing, there is a field. I'll meet you there." That field is a space where calm, love and forgiveness exist. There is no judgement, only acceptance here. And in that soul space you are free to find those fragments of you that are lost, and begin to piece them back together.
I'm licensed in both Florida and Michigan. As a licensed clinical therapist and licensed substance abuse counselor, I have experience running very powerful substance abuse and co-occurring groups. Prior to that, I worked as a social worker in Flint, Michigan for many years as a therapist, caseworker and in crisis intervention. My experiences have given me such a rich experience and exposure to the many factors that contribute to our personal mental health and well-being. I've been fortunate to work with people in their homes, in the community, with their families as well as the private practice setting which have given me a much richer experience than just an of an office setting alone.
