Life has a way of pulling the ground out from under us — a career shift, a relationship ending, a loss, or simply the quiet feeling that who you used to be no longer fits. I've been there too, and that lived experience is at the heart of how I show up for my clients.
I'm a licensed therapist with over a decade of experience helping adults find their footing during some of life's most disorienting chapters. My approach is collaborative and grounded — I don't believe in one-size-fits-all answers, so we'll work together to understand your unique story and build a path forward that actually feels like yours.
Whether you're wrestling with anxiety, standing at a crossroads, or just feeling stuck in a life that no longer seems to fit — this is a space where you don't have to have it all figured out. Just come as you are.
I am licensed with over 20 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, LGBT-related issues, and relationship issues.. Hello! I truly believe that every single one of us has a powerful story to share. As Dr. Iyanla Vanzant reminds us, “It’s important that we share our experiences with other people. Your story will heal you and your story will heal somebody else. When you tell your story, you free yourself and give other people permission to acknowledge their own story.” I am passionate about connecting with people and discovering the richness of who they are, the good, the bad, and the beautifully complex. Looking forward to meeting you!

My career has been dedicated to helping others, especially those who have struggled with trauma disorder, such as PTSD. For the last three years I have specialized in working with children and teens in the Kentucky Foster Care system. Before that, I spent years working with adults, teens, and children in the outpatient clinical setting, veterans in transitional housing shelters with trauma and substance use disorders, children and adolescents in a psychiatric residential treatment setting, and as a case manager linking families to needed resources. Now, I have decided to use my skills in private practice to focus on helping my fellow Kentuckians, especially those in Appalachia, have access to high quality care that they don't have to leave home to access.
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Kentucky. Life is full of change and transitions. We can't always control the events in our lives, but we can choose how we respond to them. I believe we all need someone in our lives who provides a safe, nonjudgmental safe space to ask difficult questions and express unfiltered thoughts and emotions. I do more than listen. I teach coping skills as well as provide direct, respectful feedback.

Through IFS and shame-informed work, we gently explore the parts of you that may feel stuck, burdened, or misunderstood—while building self-leadership, confidence, and resilience.

Good Karma to all....
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for ten years now. You will always know yourself better than I can or will.
From a philosophical and theoretical standpoint. I am overwhelming more of an attachment theorist, and have been known to use existentialism from time to time to help make sense of something. I guess the question that remains though is; can a butterfly flap it's wings in Brazil and cause a tornado in Kentucky, or are we all simply just products of our childhood and mirrors of our parents traumas?
The duality of life.
Attachment Theory vs. Chaos Theory. Both have value. I digress.
My goal is to provide a petridish in which you can explore your self. Safe. Contained. Yet completely in your control. The paradox being, you likely already have what you need. I'll sit with you while you find it. I can give you my clinical opinion, or diagnosis, and recommendations along the way as well if you'd like that. I can just sit and listen. I can play devils advocate. My job is to listen, empower, observe, and provide feedback when requested.
Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just exhausted from trying to hold everything together? You don't have to navigate it alone. I am a LCSW working with teenagers and adults who are ready to break free from cycles of overthinking and self-doubt. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and compassionate. I tailor our sessions to fit your unique needs using practical tools from MI (Motivational Interviewing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy). Together, we’ll build practical tools to help you breathe easier and move forward with confidence. Outside of session, you can find me hiking (with or without my dog), playing volleyball, volunteering in my church, and relaxing at home.

Stay focused, know your "Why?" And fulfill your purpose. Anxiety, PTSD, and depression are some of the leading reasons people seek therapy. Anxiety, PTSD, and depression can keep people from being able to reach their best potential because they focus on what could go wrong instead of what could go right. Life experiences and circumstances inform anxiety experiences. It is so important to have healthy coping skills to deal with anxiety, PTSD, and depression, so you are not overwhelmed. I would love to help you learn healthy coping skills to effectively get through struggles you may be going through. Your "someday I will work on reducing my anxiety" can start today by booking your first therapy appointment to gain healthy coping skills.
I work with adults through individual therapy seeking support for everyday challenges such as stress, work-life balance, parenting challenges, relationship concerns, ADHD, emotional regulation. depression, anxiety, PTSD, career goal setting, communication skills, or life transitions to name a few.
