Hello there I'm Twaina,
I approach psychotherapy from a person-centered, supportive role, where I utilize great active listening skills first. From there, I mentor, guide, and help my client by assisting in being a change agent, helping to change thoughts and perceptions that create those judgments in life, whether judging others, situations, or self. I meet the client where they are.
I provide telehealth therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic stress in New York and Georgia. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that affect their relationships, work, and daily functioning. Therapy offers a supportive space to better understand these challenges and begin making meaningful changes.
I specialize in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and relational stress, and use EMDR and trauma-informed therapy to help clients process unresolved experiences and reduce emotional distress. Together, we focus on building emotional regulation skills, improving coping strategies, and restoring a greater sense of stability and confidence.
You don't have to face this alone. Are you feeling overwhelmed by grief, anxiety, or the weight of past trauma? Do you find yourself stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, longing for peace and clarity? Maybe you're navigating the loss of a loved one, the challenges of new motherhood, or the complexities of a relationship. What would it feel like to be truly seen, supported, and understood? You don’t have to go through this alone. With compassion and evidence-based care, I’ll walk beside you as you work toward healing, resilience, & emotional wellness. Are you ready to take that first step?
You DESERVE to Re-SET, To Re-FUEL, To Re-CHARGE. And then TAKE FLIGHT! Since entering the field of therapy I have learned to ascribe to the adage “all behavior has meaning.” Yes, ALL behavior. A deep curiosity for why we all act and think the way we do coupled with my own life’s challenges and experiences has led me to a place of compassion for not only my own life choices but compassion for others. Our thoughts lead to feelings, which leads to action. We are not always proud of our actions. As a woman, mother, wife, and veteran I know all too well the shame that comes with our personal choices and behaviors. I also know there is also a fear of JUDGEMENT when it comes to considering therapy. This is a no-judgement zone and if you are seeking a different feeling and action in your life then you have landed at the right place!
Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Pennsylvania. I obtained my social work degree from Marywood University. Throughout my 23 year career I have served North Central PA. I help individuals that have experienced trauma, losses, addiction, divorce, relationship struggles, depression, and anxiety. I strive to ensure each of my clients are empowered throughout their treatment process. We approach your reason for seeking therapy at your pace.
Hi, I’m Brooke, a licensed therapist who helps adults find relief from anxiety, heal from trauma, and navigate the transitions that life inevitably brings. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative . I want you to feel comfortable, understood, and supported from the very beginning.
I primarily draw from CBT, ACT, and EMDR, but I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I get to know you as a person so that we can tailor therapy to what works best for you. Clients often describe me as “calming,” and I think that reflects the kind of space I try to create : one where you can let your guard down, explore what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin to move toward real change.
I became a therapist because I know what it’s like to suffer and I believe that no one should have to stay stuck in pain or face it alone.
I am Dr. Ann Dillard, a licensed marriage and family therapist. I am a relational and trauma-informed therapist specializing in mother–daughter relationships, attachment repair, and culturally grounded healing. My work centers on helping high-functioning women and adult daughters who feel successful on the outside but are internally burdened by anxiety, unresolved trauma, complex family dynamics, or betrayal wounds.
Many of the women I serve have carried responsibility for years, often as the strong one, the peacemaker, or the overachiever. They may struggle with boundaries, emotional safety, or patterns that seem to repeat across generations. Together, we gently untangle those inherited narratives and relational patterns so you can understand not only what happened to you but also how they continue to live in your body and relationships today.
My approach goes beyond traditional talk therapy. I integrate brain–body modalities such as Brainspotting, somatic therapies, attachment-based work, and parts-informed approaches to access healing at both the cognitive and subcortical levels. This allows us to work directly with the nervous system, where trauma, attachment injuries, and relational imprints are often stored.
As a therapist and researcher, my doctoral work focused on culturally nuanced mother–daughter dynamics, particularly within Caribbean-American and cross-cultural contexts. I understand how culture, migration, faith, and generational expectations shape identity, attachment, and emotional expression. I provide a space where those complexities are honored rather than pathologized.
My goal is for more than symptom reduction. It is a transformation. I help women move from survival patterns to relational clarity, from emotional reactivity to embodied stability, and from inherited scripts to authentic self-expression. Healing in my practice is intentional, grounded, and sustainable.
I became a therapist because therapy changed my life. Experiencing mental illness caused struggle and emotional suffering, but lead me to seek help. The support I found brought solace and healing, and eventually opened doors that led to becoming a therapist. It is such a meaningful experience to reach those who are now where I once was. Over the years I had opportunities to work in many settings, including medical and mental health hospitals, intensive outpatient, and residential addiction treatment centers, and now private practice.
